My name is Trevor Lloyd. I was born on Christmas Day 1935 and have been married to Vera for 48 years. We live at Victor Harbor, South Australia and have three daughters and seven grand children, the youngest in the barrow. We have a smallish block and both love our garden. Vera is a "fanatical" quilter, my hobby is the garden. We have had about two dozen daylilies in the garden since the 60's, which we have enjoyed, thinking we had a representative selection. On a trip to Lake Macquarie about two and a half years ago we happened upon the garden of Joan and Neville Charman and discovered a whole new world, to us, of Daylily colour and form. Of course we came home with some lovely plants to supplement our collection, and an ambition to hybridise some "world beaters" of our own. Because of our small garden we will never have a large collection of cultivars, but have had a lot of pleasure raising seeds of our own and others.
